Yujiawu International Seeds Park
Overview
Yujiawu International Seeds Park is located in the southern part of Tongzhou District, the sub-center of Beijing, covering a total area of 50,000 mu (approximately 33,333 hectares). The planned construction area is 216,000 square meters, with Phase I having completed 82,000 square meters of construction. The park is a national agricultural science and technology park, a national modern agricultural park, and a base for agricultural technology collaborative innovation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Industry Agglomeration
The park focuses on biological breeding, crop seed R&D, and production. It has cumulatively developed over 100 new corn varieties, promoted across more than 30 million mu (approximately 2 million hectares). Annual promotion of new vegetable varieties exceeds 10 million mu (approximately 666,667 hectares), and it pioneered China's two-line hybrid wheat breeding technology system. The park has attracted over 70 well-known domestic and international enterprises and research institutions.
Resources and Services
The park has established multiple technical and service platforms, including a 3,000-square-meter breeding common technology service platform equipped with over 700 advanced global detection devices, serving more than 400 units and 3 million data points annually. It features a 30,000-mu breeding demonstration base and a 3,000-mu biological breeding experimental base, providing pilot and large-scale demonstration support for new variety R&D. Additionally, the park includes a technology transfer service platform with a 40,000-square-meter exhibition center and a 20,000-square-meter training center for hosting seed industry conferences and display exchange activities. Modern seed industry full-chain innovation and entrepreneurship service platforms and enterprise incubation spaces further provide comprehensive support from R&D to market commercialization, promoting seed industry innovation and entrepreneurship.
